<h3><strong>The 21th Behavior Representation in Modeling &amp; Simulation (BRIMS) Conference 2012 will be held March 12-15, 2012 at Amelia Island Plantation, Amelia Island, Florida.<br />

<p>BRIMS enables modeling and simulation research scientists, engineers, and technical communities across disciplines to meet, share ideas, identify capability gaps, discuss cutting-edge research directions, highlight promising technologies, and showcase the state-of-the-art in applications. The BRIMS Conference will consist of many exciting elements in 2012, including special topic areas, technical paper sessions, special symposia/panel discussions, invited keynote speakers, and  sponsor sessions.</p>

<p>The BRIMS Conference seeks to bring high quality, technically rigorous scientific research and leading edge Human Behavior Representation (HBR)-based technologies and practices to the forefront of discussion, by pulling together and bridging the gap across the disciplines of cognitive and computational modeling, sociocultural modeling, graphical and statistical modeling, network science, computer science, artificial intelligence, and engineering. BRIMS seeks to attain international representation and participation from government, academic, and industry sectors, to help ensure that the best and the brightest from around the world are brought to the table to enhance cross-disciplinary conversation, and ultimately, advance the existing state-of-the-art.</p>
